6/5/20 – Tracy McConnell Hired as New VP Commercial Lending

ADAMS, MA – June 5, 2020 – Adams Community Bank today announced that Tracy McConnell joined the bank as Vice President, Commercial Lending.

McConnell, a seasoned veteran in commercial Lending, joins ACB with more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, having worked in other financial institutions in Berkshire County.

Charles O’Brien, President and CEO stated, “We are thrilled to have Tracy as part of our Commercial Lending Division. Her extensive lending background and broad knowledge of the commercial industry strengthens our core team as we meet the growing needs of local business owners and commercial borrowers.”

As Vice President, Commercial Lending, McConnell will focus on further developing and expanding our commercial client base and offering flexible lending programs to area businesses. “In a short time, Tracy has proven herself as an invaluable resource to the commercial team as she’s helped the Bank process a large volume of Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loans, quickly and efficiently.” O’Brien commented.

McConnell is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, business and leadership from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA). She received her Masters Banking Diploma from Stonier National Graduate School of Banking at UPENN. She also has earned various banking related diplomas from the American Bankers Association (ABA) banking school. She currently serves as treasurer on the board of directors for Berkshire Family YMCA. She is an AJY Fund board member, Advisory Committee Chair for the Business Technology department at Charles H. McCann Technical School and is a member of the North Adams Rotary Club. She also enjoys volunteering her time as a U12 Boys Youth soccer coach in Williamstown.
