6/5/2017 Adams Community Bank Hires Government Banking Officer

Adams, MA – June 5, 2017 – Charles P. O’Brien, CEO and President of Adams Community Bank announced that Susan E. Kelley joined the bank as its Senior Vice President of Government Banking.

In her new role with the bank, Kelley will provide unique and comprehensive financial solutions to local and state municipalities and to government entities. “Sue comes to us with a diverse background. She not only worked for many years in a banking role providing a variety of government banking and financial services to public organizations but she herself has a long history of municipal work having held the position of Treasurer in the Town of Lee for 15 years,” said O’Brien. “Her broad experience positions her well to work closely with municipalities and government agencies and to customize banking solutions to help them achieve their financial objectives.”

Kelley previously served as a client relationship manager overseeing government banking relationships for another financial institution. O’Brien stated, “I am very pleased to welcome Sue to the Adams Community Bank family. Her years of government banking knowledge along with her familiarity and understanding of local municipalities will be an invaluable addition in our efforts to grow current and prospective town and government customer relationships and diversify our deposit base.”

Kelley holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Berkshire Christian College and a Treasurer Certification from the State of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Town of Lee Finance Committee and she is actively involved with the Hope Church and is a member of their choir.
