Adams Community Bank Hires New SVP of Compliance & Risk Management

ADAMS, MA – SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 – Adams Community Bank (ACB) is pleased to announce the addition of John Scarpa, Jr. as Senior Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management. In this role, John will lead the Bank’s compliance, risk management, and regulatory strategy, ensuring the institution continues to meet and exceed regulatory standards while supporting sustainable growth.

John brings over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, including a distinguished tenure as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). During his time with the OCC, John led complex regulatory examinations and risk assessments across institutions of varying sizes, gaining deep insight into regulatory expectations, risk frameworks, and governance practices.

John holds a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). As a native of Lee, he is excited to raise his family back home and engage in the local community.
