Switch to ACB

easy as 1-2-3

Everything you need for a seamless transition is right here, OR let us do it for you!

Thank you for choosing a new financial path and allowing us the opportunity to be your community bank of choice!

Step 1 – Open Your New Account

Open your new account at your branch of choice. Click here for a branch nearest you.

Please be prepared to provide some personal information. New Government regulations require us to ask for your social security number, birthdate, primary and residential address, mother’s maiden name and a copy of your driver’s license, State or Government-issued ID.

Step 2 – Change Your Direct Deposits

Send one Direct Deposit form to each company or organization automatically depositing into your existing account. OR … bring us the list of your payees and companies and we’ll set it up for you.

Note: If your direct deposit involves Social Security, V.A. Comp or Pension, Supplemental Security Income, Railroad Retirement or Civil Service Retirement, no form is needed and an Adams Community Bank Representative can set this up for you!

Step 3 – Change Your Automatic Payments

If you have any payments automatically paid out of your account, send one Automatic Payment form to each company or organization who is debiting from your existing account. OR … bring us the list of your payees and companies and we’ll set it up for you.

Step 4 – Stop Using Your Old Checking Account

Destroy all unused checks, deposit slips, ATM and Debit cards. Make sure all of your checks have cleared and your automatic payments and deposits have been switched before you close your account. Use the Account Closing Request form to notify your old bank you are closing your account.
